'Ember & Olive Pizzeria began with a straightforward aim: deliver authentic Neapolitan pizza to London. Established by the Bennett family in 1985, our pizzeria started as a modest, family-owned spot with recipes passed down through the generations.'
'Oliver Bennett, our founder, learned the art of pizza-making during her travels across Italy, apprenticing with master pizzaiolos in Naples—the birthplace of pizza. Returning to the UK, she aimed to recreate the magic of true Italian pizza, using traditional methods and top ingredients.'
What started as a small 12-seat pizzeria has become a cherished local landmark, yet our dedication to quality and authenticity remains unchanged. We continue to use wood-fired oven techniques, mix dough fresh daily, and source the finest ingredients available.
Today, 'Ember & Olive Pizzeria' remains a family-run operation, with the second generation of the Bennett family guiding our passionate team. Although we’ve adopted some contemporary innovations, the core of our work stays the same: crafting delicious, authentic pizza that brings people together.'
